MUMBAI: A woman, who had accused a 64-year-old businessman of trying to sexually assault her at a five-star hotel in Mumbai and claimed she had been injured while resisting his advances, had ‘applied bloodstains of chicken on her hands and told the police that she got hurt while he was trying to sexually assault her’. This is stated in the chargesheet filed by the police.

Dev Choudhary, allegedly played honey trap to frame the businessman and had extorted Rs 3 crore from him along with her three colleagues, the police said.
The unit 10 of the crime branch city police last week filed the chargesheet against Monica Choudhary and her three accomplices —
Anil Choudhary alias Akash, Lubna Wazir alias
Sapna a fashion designer, and jeweller
Manish Sodi.
In November 2021, the businessman had lodged a police complaint alleging that a gang of four had laid a honey trap at a city hotel and extorted Rs 3.25 crore. The accused continued to threaten him with a video and demanded another Rs 2 crore, it was alleged.While her aides were arrested in the case, Monica’s arrest took place in June 2022.
The story of blackmail goes right from 2017 when Anil Choudhary and Sapna befriended the businessman and did a study of his assets and hatched a plan to trap him, the police said. In 2019, when he was in Mumbai and stayed at a five star hotel, Monica had alleged that he tried to sexually assault her and her accomplice, Sapna, had shot a video of a tiff , accusing the man of assault.
