While the COLLEGIUM ‘S recommendations have to be scrutiniserapidly with all sincerity earnestness, to fill up the mounting vacancies in several HIGH COURTS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY, it is also incumbent on the COLLEGIUM, to have a fresh look at the JAPC, duly passed by the parliament, instead of having a closed mind, treating the matter as one of its own egos, as more than 50% of the litigations pending in all the curtsrelate to cases invoving the Govt. The Central Govt, defininitely do have a stake and a legitimate grievance at not having a representative in the JUDICIAL BODY EMPOWERED TO APPOINT THE JUDGES, and make it a much more TRANSPARENT REGULATORY BODY in providing them a voice, while they are the most affected party in the whole affair. TRANSPARENCY SHOULD BE A BYEWORD , NOT ONLY IN ALL OTHER MATTERS, BUT A VIRTUAL NECESSITY, when it relates to a body sitting in judgement over cases relating to their involvement in more than 50% of the pending cases. Acceptance of the JAPC legislation, with modifications, will remove all the doubts and misgivings of the ill founded bias or prejudice of the JUDICIARY , who have been acquitting themselves in more than 99% of the cases, setting up a UNIQUE BENCHMARK IN DELIVERANCE OF JUDGEMENT.
