Diwali is known as the festival of lights and the Wish List campaign is asking Hindus and Sikhs, who celebrate Diwali, to illuminate the lives of less fortunate children in India and other countries where Save the Children operates. Having recognised the economic power of Asians in the UK, Save the Children is aiming to provide people in the UK with a means of making donations online that reflect their cultural values and religious beliefs.
Emily Browning of Save the Children said: "This is the first time we have launched a specific campaign for Diwali and we have really appreciated the expert help and support we have received from both Indoor Media and ARM. We are looking forward to seeing the impact this campaign will make on children's lives."
