Sajad Lone walks out of assembly as Speaker rejects his motions
JAMMU: J&K Peoples Conference chief Sajad Gani Lone walked out of the assembly after Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather didn’t allow him to introduce motions regarding restoration of Article 370, revocation of Public Safety Act and police verification, and probe into alleged rigging of the 1987 polls.
Rather said the assembly cannot take a call on revoking Public Safety Act and police verification as these are under the purview of Union government.
