Revamped portal launched for OCIs
Home minister Amit Shah Monday launched the revamped portal for overseas citizens of India, which will offer the existing five million OCI cardholders as well as fresh applicants a user-friendly experience in accessing services and facilitating their stay in India. PM Modi on X hailed the initiative, saying that "with enhanced features and improved functionality, the new OCI portal marks a step forward in boosting citizen-friendly digital governance".
