Over the years, numerous heads of state have participated in India's Republic Day festivities. ​The theme for this year's Republic Day celebration is 'India-Mother of Democracy' and 'Viksit Bharat.' But the period between 2021 and 2022 saw no chief guests due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
