Defence minister Rajnath Singh will be on a two-day visit to Indonesia this week to attend a meeting of the 10-nation Asean and its dialogue partners on regional and international security issues. Singh will present India's views on dealing with major security challenges at the Asean defence ministers' meeting-plus (ADMM-Plus), which includes India, China, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, Russia and the US as the dialogue partners, in Jakarta on November 16.
The ADMM-Plus comes after Singh, during his talks with his US counterpart Lloyd Austin last week, said that New Delhi & Washington agree on various strategic issues, including countering China's aggression, while reaffirming their commitment to an inclusive Indo-Pacific region.
