Raje government invites Bainsla for talks

In a fresh bid to resolve the ongoing Gujjar stir for Scheduled Tribe status, the Raje government has delivered a letter to K S Bainsla asking him to hold talks.

JAIPUR: In a fresh bid to resolve the fortnight-long Gujjar stir for ST status, Rajasthan government on Thursday invited agitation spearhead K S Bainsla for talks.
A letter to this effect was handed over to Bainsla at the agitation site in Bharatpur's Pilupura-Karwadi area by state's Principal Secretary (Irrigation) S N Thanvi, who has been asked by the Vasundhara Raje Government to deal with the Gujjar stir.

Thanvi, who signed the letter, said that Bainsla has assured him of a reply.
Earlier, Raje had invited Bainsla to the state capital for talks but he refused to travel there from the agitation site in Bharatpur district.
