Rajasthan political crisis live updates: Mayawati under pressure from CBI and ED, says Gehlot
Rajasthan governor Kalraj Mishra has agreed to CM Gehlot's revised proposal for an assembly session from Aug 14. Meanwhile, there has been some indications of a thaw between the Sachin PIlot and Ashok Gehlot camps within Rajasthan Congress. Stay with TOI for all updates.

The legislators will stay in Jaisalmer until the assembly session begins on August 14 even as the ministers remain in Jaipur to attend to their official duties. The new arrangement will be flexible, with the movement of ministers being permitted between the two cities on a rotation basis over the next fortnight.

Fearing poaching by its dissident group and the opposition BJP, Rajasthan Congress on Friday shifted its MLAs from a luxury hotel in the city, where they had been staying for the past 19 days, to another luxury resort in Jaisalmer. They were flown in three charter planes making five flights between 1pm and 6pm.

Sachin Pilot points to FIRs to skip CLP meet
He is understood to have pointed out that he and other MLAs with him ran the risk of vindictive action if they entered Rajasthan. “There are all sorts of FIRs, ranging from sedition to anti-terror laws being used. How can the MLAs be expected to attend?” a source in the Pilot camp asked.

"All are united, there is no danger, there is democracy. If everything is fine then why is fortification required and who is for sale? Make their names public. Disbelief in the fortification too! After Jaisalmer from Jaipur, Pakistan is ahead," Poonia said in a tweet.

A team of Rajasthan police's Anti-Corruption Bureau was on Friday not allowed to enter three hotels in Haryana's Gurgaon and Manesar when they went there to serve notices to two Rajasthan Congress MLAs in a corruption case, a senior official said.

54 Gehlot camp MLAs on way to Jaisalmer, more to follow
Over 50 MLAs of the Ashok Gehlot camp, who were lodged in a hotel on the Jaipur- Delhi Highway amid the ongoing political crisis in Rajasthan, were being shifted to Jaisalmer on Friday, Congress sources said.Three chartered flights carrying 54 MLAs to Jaisalmer took off from here in the first round. The remaining legislators will go in the second round, the sources said.“We are going to Jaisalmer for a change,” Congress MLA Prashant Bairwa said.

The Rajasthan Governor was disappointed at the way a campaign was launched to sully the image of the Raj Bhawan. Making the latest taunt on rebel Sachin Pilot camp, chief minister Ashok Gehlot said that horse-trading rates in Rajasthan have gone higher as new rates have been announced soon after the Assembly session date was finalised on Wednesday. "The rates of horse trading have increased after a new assembly session has been announced. Earlier, the first instalment was Rs 10 crore and second was Rs 15 crore for MLAs. However, now it's going unlimited and everyone knows who is involved in doing horse trading," he said adding that no one knows who all have collected the first instalment as well.
