President to visit Pondicherry on Friday

PONDICHERRY: President A P J Abdul Kalam would be on a day''s visit to Pondicherry on February 21.
Pondicherry District Collector A Anbarasu told reporters here on Wednesday that the President would arrive here at 8.50 am and a guard of honour would be presented at Uppalam helipad.
The President would go to Thavalakuppam to declare open the Aravind Eye Hospital.He would also visit the Aurobindo Ashram and later proceed to Raj Nivas where an interaction with students and a cultural programme would be held.
A batch of 100 students from the Union Territory would participate in the interaction with the President.
The President would leave Pondicherry at around 2.15 pm.
