His Instagram and Facebook profiles show that he routinely flew first class and boasted about his ‘travel exploits’. Ironically, his last FB post, before he boarded a flight from Dubai to New Delhi at 1.41 am on October 16, said: “En Route My Matrabhumii”.

He was arrested a couple of hours later as soon as he handed in Delhi. Hyderabad-based businessman Satish Babu Sana, on whose complaint an FIR was lodged against CBI joint director Rakesh Asthana, had also alleged that Prasad told him about his links with Asthana and some other senior officers of various Central agencies.
