AHMEDABAD: Even as he tendered his resignation from the government, BJP circles were abuzz with names of possible successors, which include party's chief whip in Gujarat assembly Pradeepsinh Jadeja and Rakesh Shah, MLA from Ellisbridge constituency.
A known Shah aide, Jadeja has been assisting him in his legal cases for some time now.
Other names that cropped up was that of Fakirbhai Waghela, minister of social justice and empowerment and Palanpur MLA Govind Prajapati, who is one of
Modi's most trusted men.
Sources say Shah's portfolios - home, law and parliamentary affairs - may get scattered.
