CHENNAI: Another accused in the Sankararaman murder case was remanded to two days'' police custody on Thursday by Kancheepuram judicial magistrate I G Uttamraja.
According to chief investigating officer S P Sakthivelu, the accused, Anil Kumar, had helped in the September-3 murder by providing vehicles to the five assailants who killed the Varadaraja Perumal temple manager.
Sakthivelu, who produced Anil Kumar before the magistrate, sought five days'' police custody to question him, but the magistrate changed the time to two days.
