Police said all the accused arrested were close aides of local TDP leader Budda Reddy Srinivasa Reddy.

The accused arrested by the police were identified as Budda Reddy Prabhakar Reddy (54), Vangala Lakshmi Reddy (60), Vangala Pulla Reddy (55), Budda Reddy Lakshmi Nagasekhar Reddy (43), Taluri Srinivasulu (41), Perumalla Venkataramana (45), Mylapuram Ramachandra Reddy (50), Dudekula Bala Hussaini (36), Jillela Bhaskar (64), Ghani Rangasamy (48) and Vangala Eswar Reddy (46).

Police said the special teams nabbed the accused earlier this morning near Nandyal-Chapirevula road on Wednesday.

It may be recalled that nearly 40 persons stormed into the residence of Pasupuleti Subba Rayudu around midnight last Sunday and attacked him with sticks, stones, rods and knives, leading to his death on the spot at Sitaramapuram village.

Subba Rayudu's murder has led to a political slugfest between the ruling TDP and the YSRCP and the arrest of 11 accused in the case on Wednesday, ahead of ex chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's visit to Sitaramapuram village assumes significance.
