according to a copy of the letter available here, abdul hamid khan, chairman of bnf, said that pakistani government and its military particularly is settling its own armed citizens and afghan and other terrorists besides increasing its "notorious intelligence agencies in balwaristan to turn the indigenous people into a minority." he claimed that former military ruler gen ziaq and gen musharraf had played a heinous role in 1988 and 1999 by launching a "genocide campaign" against the innocent indigenous people. the letter claimed that more than 900 youth were killed, 1,000 became disabled and wounded, while 40 were still missing and several civilian buildings were destroyed due to pakistan sponsored terrorist activities across the borders. khan said political and human rights activities were completely denied by pakistan as a result of which more than 100 political people were facing sedition cases and "no impartial judicial system existed in balawaristan." appealing to the world bodies for an immediate intervention, the chairman of bnf said: "pakistan should be asked to stop the terrorists activities from its soil and withdraw its troops besides extraditing the afghan militants in its soil."
