2 monks more monks detained in Bangladesh

ISKCON Kolkata reported the arrest of two monks, Adipurush Shyam Das and Ranganath Das Brahmachari, in Bangladesh. The monks were detained on their way home after meeting Chinmoy Krishna Das, who was arrested on sedition charges. This sparked concerns over escalating persecution of ISKCON followers in the country.

Over 1,000 monks protest at Petrapole border

Over 1,000 monks from West Bengal gathered at the Petrapole border in North 24 Parganas on Monday to protest against attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh and demand the release of arrested spiritual leader Chinmoy Krishna Das. The monks, under the Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti banner, expressed solidarity with the Bangladeshi Hindus.
