Pankaja Munde's official statement

MUMBAI: Maharashtra minister Pankaja Munde, daughter of late Gopinath Munde, has been accused of flouting rules in a Rs 206-crore purchase order. Here's Pankaja Munde's official statement on the issue:
Since last 2 years many agendas milestones. Whole family went through a lot of stress. My son was not feeling too well. Doctor advised change of weather and some motherly touch.I decided to give him priority when I was to go into next phase of my work. As I left for a break, I heard about some attacks on my department of women n child welfare ministry. I feel I should be given a fair chance to present our side. I have very closely observed my decisions and taken the best step as far as possible, for my department.
I, being rural development minister, water conservation minister performed historically good. 'Jalyukta Shivar Abhiyan ' will create milestone towards a draught-free Maharashtra. I have travelled all over Maharashtra. My department under leaderships of the CM did a good job in very less money n little time. I thought I will be praised n my department's work will be appreciated.
I feel deeply sad about how the women & child welfare department functioned all this while and was taken less seriously. I, as a minister, have taken some dynamic decision to reduce corruption. I have also troubled some money-minded bunch of people involved. I have not broken any rules as far I am concerned and also not feared any allegations. I am here to do the best for those kids and women and I will do so. I will come back, all set to answer, since I am
cofident of my decisions and intentions. I know my name makes any thing a news but I am a person, a daughter, who lost everything. I am representing poor, deprived ,farmers ,backward people and women.
I promised my father I will always do the best for my people who belived in me. I will always do it but I want results. Sensetionalising anything without proper information can be also destroying people's trust in the system ..
