NEW DELHI: India has dismissed reports in the Pakistani press suggesting that the Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf was going to discuss conversion of the line of control (LoC) into the border during his visit to the US.
Pointing to the denial issued by the Pakistani government, the external affairs spokesperson said on Monday that the reports seemed to have been spun out of nowhere.

In response to a question on the remarks of US deputy secretary of state Richard Armitage, the spokesperson said Armitage had also pointed to the fact that the infiltration was on the upswing.
``We all know where the inspiration, the instigation, for such violence comes from. It has been supported and sustained from across the border,'''' the spokesperson said adding that the US was aware of the depths of India''s concerns.
The spokesperson also ruled out any dialogue until the cross-border terorrism came to an end.
