HYDERABAD:

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen

(AIMIM) chief Asaduddin owaisi lashed out at Kishan Reddy, Union ministers for home affairs (MOS) for his comments on terror links in Hyderabad.

Owaisi said that wherever they ( Kishan Reddy and people believing RSS ideology) see a Muslim they find a terrorist.

Owaisi’s statement came after G Kishan Reddy, Union minister of state (home affairs) said that Hyderabad is a safe zone for terror.

“Where ever they see a Muslims they think he is a terrorist and we can’t treat their brain,” said Owaisi. He (Kishan Reddy) did not even take charge of his post and he is resorting to such kind of derogatory statements, “said AIMIM chief.

He also questioned the credibility of BJP for making such statements.

“I am asking him and his ministry to show, in previous five years when did NIA and RAW roll out written advisories that Hyderabad is becoming a terror hub,” said Owaisi.

The four-time parliamentarian also emphasised on the fact that there were no communal instances in the state despite huge processions and celebrations by different communities.

“It is very unfortunate that they resort to such a down market talk , Hyderabad is the capital of Telangana , since five years there is peace and there were communal riots . So many challenging festivals are celebrated peacefully here,” said Owaisi.

He also accused BJP of hating Telangana.

“After Bengaluru, Hyderabad holds second position in software, its a growing city and these people resort to such talk. Why do they have so much hatred for Telanagna and Hyderabad, don’t they like Telangana and Hyderabad growing,? questioned the Hyderabad Parliamentarian.

He also said that BJP doesn’t want Telagana and Hyderabad to grow because they are afraid that investments are coming to the state under K Chandrashekar Rao’s leadership.
