NEW DELHI: Opposition and BJP MPs engaged in a heated exchange in Lok Sabha Speaker
Om Birla's office over remarks by Nishikant Dubey targeting the Gandhi family.
After the Lok Sabha's proceedings were adjourned, Congress MPs met Speaker Om Birla to protest the Chair's decision to allow Dubey speak against the Gandhi family.
Reportedly, Congress MPs, including Deepender Singh Hooda, raised objections against Dubey's remarks. Meanwhile Union minister Kiren Rijiju and other BJP MPs were also present.
This comes after Dubey, during the Lok Sabha proceedings, listed several books and spoke about what they said regarding various members of the Gandhi family.
