The letter, penned by Siddaramaiah to PM Modi, highlights the severity of the accusations leveled against Prajwal Revanna, emphasizing the shock and concern felt not only in Karnataka but across the nation. It underscores the disgraceful act of Prajwal Revanna fleeing the country to Germany on April 27, 2024, using his diplomatic passport, shortly after the news of his alleged heinous actions surfaced and just hours before the filing of the first FIR against him.

The CM expressed deep concern over Prajwal Revanna's abuse of diplomatic privileges to evade criminal proceedings and accountability for his actions. Despite the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) by the Karnataka government to probe the matter, the accused remains at large, evading legal authorities despite the issuance of Look Out Circulars and notices under section 41A CrPC.

The FIR against Prajwal Revanna includes grave charges such as rape, sexual assault, disrobing women, and forcibly video-graphing sexual acts to intimidate the victims. Siddaramaiah emphasizes the urgency of the situation, stressing the need for decisive action by the central government to ensure the accused's cooperation with legal proceedings.

The letter concluded with a plea to PM Modi to consider the matter with utmost seriousness and take immediate steps to cancel Prajwal Revanna's diplomatic passport under relevant legal provisions. Siddaramaiah also mentioned about the importance of securing the MP's return to India in the interest of public justice and accountability.
