States like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh continue to be among the high burden states. However, Uttar Pradesh is conducting far more tests on a daily basis as compared to other high burden states.
The total cases in the country currently stand at 33,10,234. Of this, active cases are 7,25,991.
