Minister of state for railways Manoj Sinha said that there is no atmosphere of religious intolerance in the country. He said that the existing scenario of protest by giving away the awards is a created one.

KANPUR: Minister of state for railways Manoj Sinha said that there is no atmosphere of religious intolerance in the country. He said that the existing scenario of protest by giving away the awards is a created one. Sinha was talking to the newspersons at the Rura railway station where he had come to launch a passenger train between Phaphund and Kanpur railway stations.

Reacting further minister of state for railways who is member of Parliament from Ghazipur constituency of Uttar Pradesh said, "where ever the incidents have happened, it is the state government which is responsible and not the centre government. The issue of maintaining law and order comes under the ambit of the state governments."
He was referring to the Dadri lynching case which had occurred in Uttar Pradesh last month.
Speaking on the formation of NDA government in Bihar, the minister said that it is BJP led National Democratic Alliance which will form government in Bihar dethroning Nitish Kumar's government. He said that prime minister had campaigned well in Bihar and the people therein are looking for a change.
He said under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government is focusing on 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' and all round development of the country is being kept in mind.
"It is due to this reason that Uttar Pradesh has got a bigger chunk of the rail budget this year in comparison to the previous years" said MoS Manoj Sinha while taking to the scribes.
On being asked about increasing the reach of the train to more number of stations, the minister said that after discussion it would be decided whether to increase the number of frequency of the train between the two stations or else to expand it to more railway stations.
