NIA carries out searches at multiple places in Kashmir

SRINAGAR: The NIA on Wednesday carried out searches at multiple locations in Kashmir in a case pertaining to radicalisation, motivation and recruitment of J&K youths by Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and The Resistance Front (TRF). The searches were conducted in coordination with J&K Police and CRPF, an NIA spokesperson said.

Searches were carried out at nine locations in the districts of Srinagar, Kupwara, Anantnag, Pulwama, Bandipora, Kulgam and Baramulla, he said.

“During the searches conducted on Wednesday, incriminating materials and digital devices were seized. Further Investigation in the case continues,” the statement added.
