Prathap Simha from BJP won against Congress's C. H. Vijayshankar in Mysore Lok Sabha constituency according to the Election Commission's website. Also in 2004 and 2014, Bharatiya Janta Party had won from this constituency.
After the latest round of counting, Prathap Simha has received 661530 votes while his Congress rival C. H. Vijayshankar has got 531248 of votes.
Overall, Bharatiya Janata Party won 300 seats and is leading on 3 seats while Congress won 52 seats as per the latest details updated on the Election Commission's website on 11:40 AM on Friday, May 24.
