MYSORE: Prathap Simha from BJP won against Congress's C. H. Vijayshankar in Mysore Lok Sabha constituency according to the Election Commission's website. Also in 2004 and 2014, Bharatiya Janta Party had won from this constituency.

After the latest round of counting, Prathap Simha has received 661530 votes while his Congress rival C. H. Vijayshankar has got 531248 of votes.

Overall, Bharatiya Janata Party won 300 seats and is leading on 3 seats while Congress won 52 seats as per the latest details updated on the Election Commission's website on 11:40 AM on Friday, May 24.


Mysore Lok Sabha Constituency
The Mysore Lok Sabha constituency is currently held by Bharatiya Janata Party’s Prathap Simha. This year the face-off for Lok Sabha elections 2019 in the constituency was between Prathap Simha from BJP and Congress’s C. H. Vijayshankar.

Amongst the 28 Lok Sabha constituencies in Karnataka’s southern state, the votes for Mysore Lok Sabha constituency for Lok Sabha elections of 2019 were cast on April 18.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Adagooru H Vishwanath of Congress was defeated by Prathap Simha of BJP a large number of votes.
