Mukherjee denies sex-calls charge

new delhi: minister of state for chemicals and fertilisers satyabrata mukherjee on tuesday categorically denied charges made by a cpi-m mp that he made international sexline calls using public money. "i totally deny the allegations .... i had never made any such calls. if any of my employees made any such calls without my consent, i can''t be held responsible for that," mukherjee said.cpi-m member biplab dasgupta had demanded his resignation in a letter to prime minister atal bihari vajpayee and claimed he had documentary evidence to show that mukherjee made such calls as an mp from west bengal and later as a minister. mukherjee said most of the calls were "made at a point of time when i was not in delhi. the member (dasgupta) should have checked the facts before making the charges".
