Monsoon session of Parliament from July 24
Government has requested President APJ Abdul Kalam to convene the Monsoon Session of Parliament from July 24.
The session would last till August 30, Parliamentary Affairs Minister PR Dasmunsi told reporters on Thursday after a meeting of the Union Cabinet, which approved the proposal of the Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs for convening of the session.
