NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in 31 bilateral meetings and informal interactions with global leaders during his three-nation foreign visit.
PM Modi had a bilateral meeting with the President of Nigeria.
In Brazil, on the sidelines of the G20 Summit, he conducted 10 bilateral meetings: Brazil, Indonesia, Portugal, Italy, Norway, France, UK, Chile, Argentina, and Australia.
Prime Minister Modi held his first meetings with five leaders in Brazil: Prabowo Subianto (President of Indonesia), Luis Montenegro (PM of Portugal), Keir Starmer (PM of the UK), Gabriel Boric (President of Chile), and Javier Milei (President of Argentina).
Additionally, PM Modi had informal interactions and pull-aside meetings with leaders from Singapore, South Korea, Egypt, USA, and Spain, along with heads and executives of various international organizations which included; Ursula von der Leyen (European Union), Antonio Guterres (United Nations), Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (World Trade Organization), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus (World Health Organization), Kristalina Georgieva and Gita Gopinath (IMF).
In Guyana, PM Modi held nine bilateral meetings with the leaders of Guyana, Dominica, Bahamas, Trinidad & Tobago, Suriname, Barbados, Antigua & Barbuda, Grenada, and St. Lucia.
