Tributes to Kargil War heroes

PM Modi conducts first blast for Shinkun La Tunnel project

Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the Shinkun La Tunnel project in Kargil, Ladakh. This 4.1-kilometre-long twin-tube tunnel, located at an altitude of 15,800 feet on the Nimu-Padum-Darcha Road, will provide all-weather connectivity to Leh. Upon completion, it will be the highest tunnel in the world, significantly enhancing military logistics and fostering economic development in the region.
