Mindfulness lessons for young readers

. The idea is to not only help the young readers understand the power of living purposefully but to also enable them to unleash their "true inner potential".

Both sessions are based on two of the four books that form Trishla's Mindfulness series - an apt companion for bedtime storytelling. Shivani Wazir Pasrich, director of the The Study Pre-school in East of Kailash will read from 'Tankful of Thankful' to help young children understand the importance of gratitude. The special session for kids will be held on November 30, Saturday, from 1pm to 1.45pm and will include an interactive workshop where they will learn more about the practice of 'thanking'.

On Sunday, December 1, at 3.30pm, theatre artiste, public speaker and writer Kena Shree will take kids on a journey to feel "light and free" in her storytelling session on Trishla Jain's 'Om the Gnome and The Chanting Comb'. It teaches children the power of chanting Om. The one-hour session till 4.30pm will include a workshop for kids on the way to chant Om.
