Manish Misra murder case: Who is the real culprit?
LUCKNOW: Ramji Verma, who was taken for questioning by the Chhattisgarh police on Sunday night for allegedly murdering Prime Minister Vajpayee''s grandnephew Manish Misra, may not be the culprit after all.
Manish was thrown out of the Chhattisgarh Express near Mathura on January 26 for stopping a group of young men from sexually harassing some women.

Ramji was taken by the police after witnesses claimed he was overheard saying that he was behind the case. Ramji was in an inebriated state at the time.
The UP police are wary about the "catch" as Manish''s friend Rakesh, who was also thrown out of the train, and Gurcharan Lal, the guard in the Chhattisgarh Express, have stated that Ramji was not around at the time of the incident.
However, Mahipal, one of the passengers from the coach, claims he recognised Ramji, said Railways additional DG B K Bhalla. He confirmed that Rakesh had claimed that he did not know Ramji. Probe teams are struggling to trace other assailants. "Ramji has provided few details," said an officer.
