Man, upset at his dog's death, ends life

BENGALURU: Upset after his pet dog died of illness Tuesday, a 33-year-old man died by suicide the next day in his home in the Bengaluru neighbourhood of Madanayakanahalli.

Rajashekhar C, who was self-employed, lived with his mother and elder sister. His mother found his body in his room on Wednesday morning.

According to his family, Rajashekhar was very attached to "Bouncy". "Owing to illness, Bouncy died on Tuesday morning. By the afternoon, Rajashekhar buried the dog near his house. Since then, he was upset," police quoted his family as saying. No death note was found.
