Man gets 20-year rigorous imprisonment for raping niece

Aman, 32, was convicted and sentenced to 20-year rigorous imprisonment (RI) for raping his 13-year-old niece and impregnating her. Despite the victim turning hostile, the court relied on a DNA report and the doctor's deposition. While convicting the accused, judge DS Deshmukh said this should send a clear message to society that perpetrators in such cases are dealt with an iron hand.
