MUMBAI: Senior BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, whose condition remains 'critical', would undergo a 'minor surgical procedure' on Saturday. "Mahajan is expected to undergo a routine minor surgical procedure and the details will be provided later in the day," Director (Administration), Hinduja Hospital, Anupam Verma, said. His condition remains 'critical' and he continues to be on ventilator and dialysis support, Verma added.
The BJP General Secretary underwent a CT scan on Friday to locate the bullets embedded in his body and to find out the extent of injuries to vital organs. He was also put on increased medication for maintaining blood pressure. Fifty-six-year-old Mahajan was shot at and critically injured by his younger brother Praveen on April 22.
