Prayagraj is gearing up to host the grand Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, which will take place from January 13 to February 26, 2025. The Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (UPSTDC) is set to expand its tent-based deluxe accommodation facilities by constructing a 300-bed deluxe dormitory within the Maha Kumbh Mela area. This large-scale project, slated to launch soon, aims to offer premium lodging options for visitors, officials have announced.Additionally, the Uttar Pradesh Culture Department will establish 20 small stages at prominent locations across Prayagraj. These stages will host folk dance performances representing various Indian states, allowing tourists, devotees, and locals to experience the country’s rich cultural heritage over a span of 45 days.
