Among the sacred ghats of Prayagraj, Kalighat holds special significance. It is renowned for the temple of Goddess Kali, which serves as a center for Shakti worship. It is believed that not only are sins washed away here by the Yamuna, but with the blessings of Goddess Kali, strength and prosperity are infused into life. The aarti at Kalighat and its divinity make it a unique ghat for spiritual practice and devotion during the Maha Kumbh.
