A tragic incident occurred near Bageshwar Dham in Madhya Pradesh’s Chattarpur district where a homestay collapsed, resulting in death of one woman and injuries to at least 10 individuals early on Tuesday, an official told news agency PTI.
He stated that three of the injured individuals were in critical condition.
A woman named Anita Devi (40) lost her life after the wall of a homestay in Gada village collapsed due to heavy overnight rain, according to Bamitha police station in-charge Ashutosh Shroti.
Ten others sustained injuries in the incident and were taken to the district hospital for treatment, the official added.
Police have confirmed the details, and investigations are underway to determine the cause of the collapse.
