DEHRA DUN: In a development that could put the CBI on backfoot, three key witnesses have turned hostile in the Madhumita Shukla murder case, in which Samajwadi Party MLA Amarmani Tripathy is the prime accused. The case is being heard in Dehra Dun since March 12.
The three witnesses, one is Madhumita's former servant Pinku Singh, while the other two are Prabhakar Pandey and Gangesh Tripathi, both hostel mates of one of the accused, Santosh Rai, went back on their words and told the court on Monday they had never said any of the things attributed to them by the Central investigating agency.
