DEHRADUN: Chief minister B C Khanduri tabled the Uttarakhand Lokayukta bill, 2011 in the Assembly on Monday. It is likely to be passed on Tuesday.
The move comes 49 days after Khanduri took over as CM, replacing Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, whose government was marred with graft cases. The cabinet had approved the bill on Saturday.
The Lokayukta would have the CM, all ministers, MLAs, bureaucrats and government servants under its ambit.

The lower judiciary is also included but HC judges of Uttarakhand would be spared.
