Parliament Session: Leaders who took oath on the second day

Congress leader took oath as the member of the Parliament on the second of the Parliament session. He held a copy of the Constitution during the oath-taking ceremony. He has won the recent Lok Sabha election from two constituencies: Rae Bareli and Wayanad. Recently, he announced that he will be resigning from the Wayanad constituency, and his sister Priyanka will contest in the by-elections.

AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owasi took oath as the member of the parliament for the fifth time. He stoked a fresh row by saying "Jai Palestine" while taking oath as Lok Sabha in the parliament.

SP chief and former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav took oath as the member of Parliament on Tuesday. He won from the Kannauj constituency by a margin of 1,70,922 votes. He also announced that he will be resigning from Karhal assembly constituency.

BJP MP Chhatrapal Singh Gangwar stoked controversy saying 'Jai Hindu Rashtra, Jai Bharat' during the oath taking ceremony on the second day of Parliament session.

BJP MP from Gorakhpur Ravi Kishan took oath for the second time on Tuesday. He won by a margin of 1,03,526 votes.

TMC leader Mahua Moitra took oath as MP as she won another term from West Bengal's Krishnanagar constituency. She was earlier expelled following recommendation of Lok Sabha Ethics Committee for sharing her login and password of NIC portal.

Samajwadi Party leader Dimple Yadav took oath as MP on the second day of the Parliament session. She won from the Mainpuri constituency by a margin of 2,21,639 votes in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections.

TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee took oath as member of Parliament of the Diamond Harbour constituency. He won by a margin of 7,10,930.

Arun Govil who played the character of Lord Ram in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan took oath on the second day of the Parliament as the MP of Meerut.

BJP leader Hema Malini took oath for the third time on Tuesday. She won from the Mathura constituency by a margin of 2,93,407 votes.

Former cricketer Yusuf Pathan took oath as MP of Bahrampore constituency. He defeated INC's Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary in the recent Lok Sabha elections.
