Lok Sabha Elections: 'Make voters aware about 'jungle raj' before NDA came to power in Bihar', says PM to BJP workers

Sharad Pawar on Tuesday claimed that the 'mood' of the country has turned against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The NCP (SCP) chief also attacked the Central government for attacking the institutions of the country and not taking 'national interests seriously." Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday called upon BJP workers across Bihar to educate young voters about the "jungle raj" that prevailed in the state before the NDA came to power. In an interaction with them via the 'NAMO app', Modi also asked booth level workers of the BJP, which has an alliance with four other parties in Bihar, to work in coordination with coalition partners and make people aware that "every vote they cast in favour of the NDA, will be for Modi".

The Aam Aadmi Party has decided to field Raj Kumar Chabbewal from Hoshiarpu and Malvinder Singh Kang from Anandpur Sahib for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Punjab.

Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, who recently parted ways with the Congress after 50 years, is set to contest the Lok Sabha elections from the Anantnag-Rajouri constituency under his new party, the Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP).

"In the last (Assembly) election, they (BJP) made false allegations on us in the Kanhaiya Lal case.
