Left candidates in 38 of Bengal seats

Left candidates in 38 of Bengal seats
The Left Front on Tuesday announced its candidates for 38 out of the 42 Lok Sabha seats in West Bengal.
The announcement comes after Congress released its first list of 11 contestants on Monday , with its state chief making it clear that the party will field candidates in all seats.
The developments over the past two days indicate that Left and Congress are heading for a four-cornered contest in Bengal.
1x1 polls
CPM will contest 29 of the 38 seats, including Raiganj and Murshidabad , leaving three seats each for Front partners Forward Bloc, RSP and CPI.
