Kolkata theatre hall gutted

kolkata: the rangmahal theatre in hatibagan area in northern part of the city was partially gutted in a devastating fire on wednesday morning, fire brigade sources said. thirty fire tenders, which were pressed into service, took two hours to put out the fire, they said. no casualty or injury was reported, the sources said. fire brigade minister pratim chatterjee and high officials supervised the firefighting operation.the cause of fire or the extent of damage was yet to be ascertained.
