Kin demands probe into Indian-American's mysterious death in US

HYDERABAD: Alpesh Patel, brother of Sanjay Patel, an Indian-American, whose remains were found in Panola County, near Pope, Mississippi, has urged Union Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj to ask the US police to investigate the case. Alpesh, who lives in Mahasena, Gujarat has also requested for a visa to travel to the US.

It is suspected the remains (a skull, teeth and bones) that were found on February 25 in a farm at Pope are that of Sanjay Patel.

Bartlett police are suspecting the role of one Marcus Perry in the case as he was last seen with Sanjay Patel at his shop.
