Karnataka: HD Kumaraswamy wins trust vote amid walk out by BJP from the House
BENGALURU: The Kumaraswamy led JD(S)-Congress government passed the last mile of the test with the trust vote moved by chief minister H D Kumaraswamy being carried through amid a walk out by the BJP.
The trust vote was approved by voice vote with Kumaraswamy winning it unanimously. The floor test was conducted by newly elected speaker K R Ramesh Kumar. He was unanimously elected after the BJP withdrew the nomination of its senior MLA S Suresh Kumar.

Yeddyurappa, replying to Kumaraswamy's speech on the trust vote, set Friday evening as the deadline for the CM to waive off farms loans in nationalised and cooperative banks as promised in the JD(S) poll manifesto. Yeddyurappa threatened the BJP would organise a Karnataka bandh on May 28 if it was not done.
