Justice Kurup to head wage boards for scribes

NEW DELHI: The government has appointed Justice K Narayana Kurup (former Kerala HC judge) as chairman of the wage boards for working and non-working journalists.
Former labour secretary K M Sahni has been appointed member-secretary to operationalise the wage boards. While the decision to constitute the wage boards was taken by PM Manmohan Singh, the notification for this will be issued by the labour ministry, a senior official said on Monday.
