SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir government has said it will pass the controversial Permanent Resident (Disqualification) Bill, denying property rights to women marrying outsiders, as per the aspirations of the people of the state.
The Permanent Resident (Disqualification) Bill will be passed in the assembly as per the aspirations of the people of the state, minister for finance, law and parliamentary affairs Muzaffar Hussain Beig said addressing a PDP workers’ convention at Bandipora in Baramulla district on Saturday.
