<div class="section1"><div class="Normal"><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">DEHRA DUN: A day after the National Commission for Women censured the Uttaranchal government for "wrongful confinement" of Jenny, the unwed mother who claimed that the then revenue minister Harak Singh Rawat was her child''s father, the state government on Friday agreed to release her from a shelter home here.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">At a joint press conference along with chief secretary R S Tolia, NCW chairperson Poornima Advani again said that Jenny be set free from the shelter home where she was confined for over a year and said the commission would prepare a detailed report on the "sex scandal" and give its recommendations within a week time.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">Tolia said the state government has no objection in releasing Jenny but did not give a timeframe in this regard.
</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">Jenny had stirred a political storm last year by alleging that her child was fathered by Harak Singh Rawat.</span></div> </div>
