NEW DELHI: An army jawan on leave was injured after being shot at by terrorists in the Tral area of Awantipora in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, official sources said.
The jawan, who had returned home while on leave, was shot in the leg. He was immediately rushed to a hospital where his condition is reported to be stable.
Following the attack, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to apprehend the assailants.
