International Yoga Day: Union Minister Smriti Irani performs yoga at Noida indoor stadium in UP
GAUTAM BUDDHA NAGAR: Union Minister Smriti Irani on Wednesday performed Yoga at an indoor stadium in Uttar Pradesh's Noida, to mark the 9th International Yoga Day.
Every year International Yoga Day is celebrated on June 21 worldwide. It serves as a platform to raise awareness about the numerous benefits of yoga and promote its holistic approach to physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Earlier in the day, Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda on Wednesday participated in the International Yoga Day programme at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Gurugram.
Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami also performed Yoga in Haridwar.
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and Ayush Minister Sarbanand Sonowal to perform yoga at garrison ground in Jabalpur.
In Himachal Pradesh, Union Minister Anurag Thakur took part in the International Yoga Day.
The concept of International Yoga Day was introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his 2014 address to the United Nations General Assembly.
Since then, Yoga has gained huge popularity worldwide due to its ability to enhance flexibility, strength, balance, and overall fitness.
This year the theme of Yoga Day is 'Yoga For Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' i.e. Yoga for the welfare of all in the form of 'One World-One Family'.It emphasises the spirit of Yoga, which unites and takes everyone along. Like every time, this time too programs related to yoga will be organised in every corner of the country.

Yoga is not only beneficial for mental health problems but for overall well-being. Regular yoga practice reduces stress and improves symptoms of anxiety and depression.
Following the pandemic, yoga has shown remarkable results in reducing anxiety and depression symptoms. It helps with emotional management, mood improvement, and brain clarity and also highlights the connection between the mind and the body.

Indeed Yoga practices have shown extraordinary behavioral and other dramatic changes --- character dedication to duty application of mind heart and soul in every government employee - in particular central govt. and BJP ruled states ----- such a tremendous improvement in leaps & bounds --- due to constant Yoga practices rigorously adopted by millions of Babus ----- ADMIN REFORM long pending reform has been shelved ----- foreign trips -- spa type of high cost facilities - have also come down sharply........ productivity & results in deliverance of the huge sagging white elephant has shot up....................all through the skies...............? :-)Read allPost comment
